These are products that I have been knitting for YEARS and the opportunity to share them with a larger audience is very exciting. I have knit countless baby blankets for friends and family members, and have been selling wash cloths since I was 12 years old (that's like 10+ years, ya'll 😳)
I am not expecting to become some big-shot Etsy shop, but make home life and mom life a little more enjoyable with these handmade products. The dish cloths make awesome gifts - teacher gifts, bridal shower gifts, Mother's day gifts, housewarming gifts - and everyone who has bought them from me always orders more. They are not going to break your bank either! (All the dish cloths are around $15 after shipping costs!)
They work really great for normal scrubbing/cleaning chores, but my favorite thing to use them for is with my face wash. My husband loves them, too! (I have to keep him out of my stock pile!)
And of course the baby blankets make great gifts as well. 😉 It takes your gift-giving to a new level of thoughtfulness when you give something that has been handmade.
I have been working on one for my own Little One coming in August, and it is surreal to finally be working on one that I will be wrapping my own baby in.
I think I am most excited about this opportunity because it feels like a big step to being a productive stay-at-home-mom when Little Dude gets here. I know it's not for everyone, but being able to work from home while I raise my kiddos would be a dream.come.true.
You can also follow my shop on Instagram!
And to celebrate... I have a discount code! Use the code GRAND25 to get 25% off your order until Monday!
Thanks to all of you for being my amazing readers. Ya'll are the reason I do what I do!
This is great! Wishing you all the best on motherhood and your many other ventures.
ReplyDeleteStopping by from #TestimonyTuesday
Oh girl I admire your drive. Being a stay at home mom is amazing. I worked after my first two were born but after the twins I had four kids 4 and under. I had to stay home and I loved every minute of it but I wish I would have had some form of income to contribute. I am praying for your success!!..Vising from RaRa Link Up
ReplyDeleteThis is awesome! I love Etsy! 2 years ago I sold on there where I sold hand-sewed Minecraft Christmas stockings & ornaments one year when we needed extra funds. It was so fun that I have been working on product designs again but this time to go with my blog. I will stop by and look around. I prefer to shop online anyways. Thanks so much for linking up this week!
ReplyDeleteGood luck to you! I need to get back to etsy, I have been working on designing patterns, only one listed now, but I want to do more. Between my blog and as a Rodan+Fields consultant, I've been able to only work part time around my kids. I love the freedom
