Cattails, Rabbit Trails, and Thistlefish: About

My name is Casey Capra. Welcome to my crazy life!
I am newlywed to my incredible husband Jon. We were married five and a half months after our very first date, on August 7, 2015. My primary goals in life are to be the best wife and cheerleader for my husband, and to glorify God with everything I do.
He is a better cook and follower of Jesus than I am, and I wholeheartedly believe that I married the best man out there.
(You can find more wedding pictures by following the links here)

I am from Virginia, 22 years old, and I come from a ginormous family of ten kids (you can find a quick, outdated intro to all of them here!) I am currently a full-time student, studying psychology at Regent University because I am completely fascinated by the way God created our minds and emotions to function.

I am passionate about planners, yellow notepads, sticky notes, paper clips and singing very loudly.

Besides faith and marriage, one of my greatest passions is combining fashion and modesty. Modesty is not about being ashamed of your body, but keeping it sacred (in a classy, flattering way) to honor God and your marriage (or future marriage!).  You can read more about why I fashion blog here.
My husband and I were Young Life leaders (I for 3 years, he for 4 years) and we both have a huge heart for high school kids and living a life of ministry. We want to use our lives for nothing but the Lord's purposes, and our marriage and home are the hub of this vision.

I am striving towards becoming a courageous woman of God, and to grow characteristics in me that would further my purpose of being a wife and a future mother, and ultimately my role in full-time ministry.

My hope for this blog is that it will be a place to equip and inspire women with the confidence they need to express their worth and femininity through their style, calling, and whatever season of life they are in, and to motivate women to explore their limitless potential within their home, marriage, workplace, and/or family.

Join me, as I figure out how to balance full-time college, marriage, ministry, and learning how to keep a home! I hope you are encouraged along the way.
