The Modest Budget: Pregnancy Meets My Fave Jeans

Hello, sweet readers!
This week has been a full one already. Monday was spent catching up the house after the weekend (like it always is) and cramming for an exam that I had on Tuesday. So here's Wednesday, and the first half of the week has flown by, leaving my fridge empty and my energy already a tad drained.

Shirt: Target (similarsimilar) // Jacket: Forever 21 (hand-me-down) (similar) //
Jeans: Thrifted // Shoes: Target // Bag: Sole Society (hand-me-down)

This outfit has been one of my faves, and it's honestly way cuter than most of what I've been wearing through this pregnancy (because literally all I feel like wearing is sweatpants).
These pictures were taken when I was at 19 weeks, and now I'm at 22 (woohoo!) so I've grown even more since then. But the best part about this outfit for me was the fact that I could wear non-maternity jeans!

These are my fave jeans that I found at a thrift store last year, and I was sad about letting them go for 9 months. But I can still wear them, thanks to the awesome advice of a friend and investing in a BeBand! They are only $18.99 at Target, and allows me to still wear my non-maternity pants. I'm wearing a size medium, and it's been perfect for the transition between non-maternity and maternity pants. I'm obsessed. Probably the best purchase I've made since I've been pregnant! And I think every pregnant mama needs one.

The shirt is from Target too, and you might recognize it from last week's post. So are the sneaker pumps, but I don't think they're sold there anymore.
The purse is a hand-me-down, and so is the Forever 21 jacket!

Hope your week has been less crazy than mine! ;)
What is that one thing that you think every pregnant mama needs?

  1. Such a cute bump and outfit. I love the mix of olive green and burgundy. I did that in latest post too in addition to some blue. ;-)
